America's Next Top Model Winners

America's Next Top Model  was a reality show hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks that aimed to find someone who could be the next top fashion model. The first cycle's catch-phrase was: "One Girl has what it takes." 

Adrianne Curry is the ANTM cycle 1 winner. Adrianne Marie Curry (born August 6, 1982) is an American model, best known as the first winner of the reality television series America's Next Top Model. She is separated from husband Christopher Knight, who portrayed Peter Brady on The Brady Bunch. She runs a weekly show on the NowLive radio network, in which she is an investor.

 

America's Next Top Model Cycle 2 was the second season of America's Next Top Model hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks, which aims to find the next top fashion model. The cycle's catch-phrase was "They are all gorgeous, but only one has what it takes". The winner was 23-year-old Yoanna House from Jacksonville, Florida. This was also the first appearance of Nigel Barker participated as judge.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 3, is the third season of America's Next Top Model hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks. It was the first cycle to gain partnership with cosmetics magnate CoverGirl and ran weekly commercials during the show named Beauty Tip of the Week with Jay Manuel and Elsa Benitez as well as the CoverGirl of the Week contest. Also the cast was increased to 14 contestants. The season's catch-phrase was "Beauty In Progress". The winner was Eva Pigford of Los Angeles, California.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 4 with the shooting location being moved from New York City to Los Angeles. The catch-phrase of the season was "Dive In."
These were the last appearances of Janice Dickinson and Nolé Marin who participated as judges. The Beauty Tip of the Week has now been replaced by the My Life as a CoverGirl segment. The winner was 20-year-old Naima Mora from Detroit, Michigan.



 
America's Next Top Model Cycle 5 was the fifth cycle of America's Next Top Model. The judging panel ensemble was altered - Janice Dickinson was replaced by one of the most recognizable models of the 1960s, Twiggy, and Nolé Marin was replaced by runway coach J. Alexander. The cycle's catch-phrase was "Bling It On." The winner was 19-year-old Nicole Linkletter from Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Excitement for New Year

New year is truly in the air.. Magpaputok ba naman ng bonggang-bongga eh a-trenta pa lang?! Well, we cannot avoid the excitement of the people for the coming New Year eh ito ang simula ng pagbabago ng nakararaming tao.. There are new year's resolution na dapat talagang matupad.  Di dapat natin sanayin ang ating sarili na magsimula ng isang gawain ng hindi tinatapos.. We should know ourselves and change what is really dull in our personality. Have a delightful New Year everyone! Learn to forgive and forget.. :)

Ang hirap ng paasahin ka sa wala.. Iyon bang sigurado ka nang tutuparin niya yung mga binitiwan niyang salita pero sa huli, binigo ka niya.. Ang masakit pa nun, mahalaga siya sa buhay mo.. Siya ang isa sa mga taong nagbigay ng kulay sa malungkot mong buhay, siya yung laging nakasuporta sa iyo tuwing may sama ka ng loob, siya yung laging nakikinig sa lahat ng tantrums mo, for short, SIYA ANG LAHAT MO..

Ano ba ang ibig sabihin ng kaibigan? Iyon ba ay yung lagi mong kasama sa mga gimik at lakad? yung nakakaimpluwensiya sa iyo? o yung suportado ka sa lahat ng iyong ginagawa at hindi plastik? Akala ko lagi silang andyan.Akala ko nasa likod ko lang sila, laging nakasuporta.. Nawala bigla ang tiwala ko dahil lang sa isang pangyayari.. Hindi pala pangmatagalan ang samahan namin. Hindi natupad ang mga pangarap ko na kasama sila.. Gumuho ito lahat bigla...

It is exactly a week after our very successful performance during the High School Festival 2011.. And I am so happy with the result of the cheer dance competition! All in all, SENIORS are the over-all champion of this year's celebration.! I am so proud to be a senior! For three long years of "paghahangad:" ng una, first place sa cheer dance/cheering and yelling competition at pangalawa, for the trophy of over-all champion.! Granted na ang wish ko sa last year ko sa high school.. I'm graduating with smile on my lips.. Super saya ng last year ko sa Pangasinan National High School..

Mula sa malayo, may narinig ako. Parang mga yabag ng nagtatakbuhang mga kabayo…papalapit…papalakas…nakakabingi. Maya-maya pa ay para ng binabato ng bato ang bubong ng bahay. Sa simula ay mga mahihina muna ngunit kalauna’y lumalakas na ang bagsak. Paparami pa nang paparami, nakakabingi ang lakas at halos mabutas ang yero. Tumingin ako sa labas, mga tubig galing sa itaas ang nakatawag sa aking pansin. Nagulat ako, imposible…

                Umuulan nga. Parang kanina lang ay mainit na mainit ang sinag ng araw na tumatama sa aking balat. Nakapagtataka nga minsan kasi nagsasabay ang pagbuhos ng ulan at sikat ng araw. Abnormal na talaga ang panahon. Hindi mahulaan kung ano ang maaaring mangyari mamaya. Hindi makayang estimahin ng isip ang mga pangayayari sa hinaharap. Hindi na puwede ang pagtatantiya at pabandying-bandying. Paano kaya ito nangyayari? Saan galing ang mga ito? Ano ang epekto nito sa tao? SINO ang salarin nito?

                Ang mga pangyayaring aking napapansin ay nangyari dahil sa pagbabago ng klima o “climate change”. Ito ay nararanasan, hindi lamang ako, kundi ng buong mundo. Ang pagbabago ng klima ay nanggagaling sa sobrang greenhouse gases na pumupunta sa mundo ngunit hindi nailalabas dahil ito ay nakulong sa “kumot” na bumabalot sa mundo. Ang “kumot” na ito ay kumakapal dahil sa mga iba’t ibang elemento galing sa iba’t ibang mga bagay. Ang nakulong na init mula sa kalawakan ay dumarami at nagdudulot ng pag-init ng mundo. Ang nangyayari ngayon tulad ng mga hindi inaasahang tagtuyot, biglaang pag-init ng araw at kakapusan sa tubig ay ilan lamang sa mga epekto nito. Ang mga hindi inaasahang pag-ulan naman ay dahilan din ng pagbabago ng klima. Sa sobrang init, madaling maging “vapor” ang tubig sa mga dagat, lawa, atbp. Ang mga “vapor” na ito ay hinahangin paitaas at nasasama sa mga ulap. Kapag puno na ang ulap, babagsak na ang mga “water vapor” bilang ulan at Plok…Plok…Plok…ulan na!

                Kung ito ay lalala, hindi na rin matutukoy kung hanggang saan ang makakaya ng mundo dahil sa paiba-ibang klima. Hindi maiiwasan ang pagbalik sa iyo ng anumang ginawa mong masama. Ang tao rin mismo ang may sala sa nararanasan natin ngayon. Tapon dito, tapon doon. Dura dito, dura doon. Basura dito, basura doon at saan ka man lumingon. Mayroon namang basurahan na maaari mong paglagyan ng iyong mga kalat, bakit hindi mo roon ilagay? Mayroon din namang lugar na kung saan doon tinatambak ang mga basura upang mapakinabangan pa, bakit nagtatamad-tamaran ka? Kumilos na at simulan ang pagbabago. Ngunit ang tanong ng marami, PAANO BA?

                Maaaring makatulong ang simpleng pagtatapon ng mga basura sa tamang lalagyan. Sa pamamagitan nito, hindi na mababara ang bawat agusan ng tubig sa buong bansa. Pangalawa, ihiwalay ang plastik sa mga papel at dahon. Pagisa-isahin ang mga lata, karton, plastiks, at bubog. Ang mga ito ay maaaring ibenta sa mga junk shops na nagkalat sa iba’t ibang lugar. Ang mga papel naman ay puwede ring i-recycle o ‘di kaya’y ibenta sa mga factory kung saan gumagawa sila ng “recycled paper”. Ito ay mga papel na gawa sa mga patapong papel. Pangatlo ay ang hindi pagsusunog ng mga plastiks. Ang usok na nanggagaling sa pagsusunog ng plastik ay nakasisira sa ozone layer, ang nagsisilbing proteksyon natin sa ating balat laban sa mga UV rays na inilalabas ng araw. Pinapanipis ng usok na ito ang ozone layer at sa kasalukuyan ay napapabalitang butas na ito. Pang-apat, panatilihing malinis ang buong bahay. Makakapagdulot ito ng isang magandang tanawin at nasayang disposisyon ng isang tao. Para isuma total, kailangan  ng disiplina ng bawat isa sa atin. Huwag dapat tayong matigas ang ulo.  Para rin ito sa ating ikabubuti kaya mas mabuting gumawa tayo ng mga mabubuting gawa. Lahat ng ginawa ng Diyos ay para sa ating mga tao ngunit isa lamang Kanyang hiniling. Ito ay pag-ingatan natin ag lahat ng ito at mahalin ang mga kapwa mo gaya ng pagmamahal Niya sa iyo.

Stories of the Broken Hearts

Have you ever been hurt because of a promise? Have you ever been hurt because you trust a person too much? Have you ever been hurt because of the so called LOVE? You will be reading two different stories of broken heart...

--A 13 year-old girl was courted by his 15 year-old crush. In six months time, he received the sweet "yes" of the girl. They were really happy to have each other and even if they are apart, they stayed faithful to each other. Their story was like a fairytale until the very night when the girl found out a very shocking news... She texted her boy that night and when he didn't reply, she called him... She was shocked when she heard a girl's voice... Stunned, she(the GF) asked who she is but the girl(the other) only returned the same question to her(the GF)... The GF told that she is the girl of ****.. The other girl told that she is the girl of ****.. Tears ran down on the cheeks of the GF and turned the CP off.. After a while, her cp beeped.. The guy was calling and she answered it to clear things out. The guy explained his part but the girl was so hurt to discover that his boy has another girl.

That's the heart break of the first character.

-- A girl was courted.. She was an NBSB and she didn't want to break that so she doesn't just give her sweet "yes" to the boy. On the process, the girl was slowly falling in love with the boy.. Promises now, promises later. Those are the reasons why she fell in love and answered the boy with her "yes".. But due to immaturity, they quarrel most of the times.. Her friends were comforting her and they helped in solving the problems in their so-called relationship. Her friends thought that he was learning from their advices.. Only to find out he keeps on blaming the girl for what happened to their relationship. Therefore, he didn't keep her friends' advices... On the other hand, the girl defends the boy most of the times.. She was already blinded by the love she felt in the boy's arms. As time goes by, their relationship was weaking. Their fights became often until the night that the boy told the girl that he fell in love with another girl (thru text).. Therefore, she ended their relationship right there and then. The other day, she shared her heart breaks with her friends. Of course, her friends got angry with the boy and cursed him.. They were hurt to see their friend's heart break.

And that is the heart break of the second character...

Ako Lang Naman Ito

Oo ako yan..hindi yung bear kundi yung yumakap sa bear.. Kaka-celebrate ko lang ng kaarawan ko nung ika-29 ng Setyembre kaya't ngayon ay 15 taong gulang na.

I'm studying at Pangasinan National High School and currently a senior student. I'm with my friends everytime and especially, when there are no classes. Picture taking ang hobby nila kaya nakisali na rin. =)))

I love family outing.. I am an optimistic person.

Isa ito sa hindi makakalimutan na nangyari sa high school life ko. Dahil lang naman dito ay nag-aka-Cinderella ako. I'm brave na isiwalat na during the actual performance ay naalis ang isa sa shoes ko.. may nakapansin na Sophomore noon eh tsaka sabi: "Ate, natanggal na yung shoes mo." Tumango lang ako e The show must go on e. Kakahiya pero masaya. There is always a First Time ika nga nila.

Iyan lamang ang maibabahagi ko sa inyo tungkol sa aking makulay na buhay. There you have it!
